2011 not going great so far

After a bad start for this year it seems that I can't get into it. Poker isn't going as I hoped it would go and I still have a bit of trouble getting into the grind. It builds and builds, so I am on the right track, I just need to get things moving a bit faster.

My diet goes well regarding eating, I added a few things to do my diet, like a bit of fastfood and a small amount of weightgainer. I'm comfortable eating more than I did, but the results aren't visible yet. I guess I shouldn't focus on that and shouldn't think short term about my weeight. I've been going back and forth between 55kg and 53kg. I'm sure I'll add some pounds in the next weeks, I just have to stop looking at the scale every 2 days or so. I'll put up some more pics when there's a decent change.

Diet started: pics and plans

Ok here I go, I want to get FAT! Oh wait, not fat, but in decent shape.

I'm way too skinny now, so I need to gain some weight. I weigh 55kg/121lbs at the moment. I'd like to add at elast 10kg/22lbs

i will keep my progress here in my blog, for the most part to keep myself honest and motivated.

I have to get at least 2K calories/day to gain some decent weight, so I set up a diet for the first few days/weeks.
This diet will expand after time and i will add a few things to eat in between, like healthy, calory rich snacks etc.

I did eat a lot already, but it was food with low calories or something or food which was justplain unhealthy.

I found a list of food and the calories they have so I tried to find a lot of stuff that wouldn't "fill my hunger" but do add some weight in time, so I can eat more and more.

My diet so far;

Breakfast: Calories:

4 slices of brown bread: 304
2 with peanutbutter: 194
2 with hard boiled eggs: 148
1 banana: 110
1 glass of whole milk: 94

Lunch:

4 slices of brown bread: 304
2 with peanutbutter: 194
2 with meat/cheese: 102
1 banana: 110
1 glass of whole milk: 94
1 glass of juice: 56

Dinner:

pasta with meat: 507
-or-
meat/patatoes/veggies: 375
-or-
rice with meat: 367
yoghurt dessert: 112

Evening snack:

Some nuts (100gram): 575

So the total for the day is: 2813 calories

This will be a little more, since I will eat some small things in between probably, and I'll drink more juice as well in between meals.

Just for starters, I think this will be enough. I have some weightgainer left as well so I'll add that as an "after dinner/in between snack" as well after a week or so. just little portions and generally move up.

Pounding through: Diet

Tomorrow it's gonna start: My "gaining weight" diet

To start off I will do some supermarket pwnage and buy everything that has a lot of calories. Well not everything but a lot.

I have to eat more and more, not fast food, not carbs, but calories...

Breakfast lunch and dinner are meals I def have to set at some decent times and keep up with that instead of eating at different times everyday.
For snacks in between meals, I'll change the cookies for some proteine bars. I'll start working out and have some extra milk and small amount of weightgainer after every workout.
In time, I will increase my eating and weightgainer to generally add everything untill I can consume a minimum of 2K calories a day.

I will update this blog on a regular basis including some pictures about my progress.

Getting back into the grind

As promised, I would start the grind again this month. I have played a bunch of games yesterday, not special, but my mindset, focus and play were so much better than last month, even though the results were a bit shitty because of variance.
I didn't affect my mindset or play at all, so that's something I am a little proud off, to get my tiltcontrol in shape.

I made a video from a session I played and reviewed it with my coach. That was by far one of the best sessions I've ever had, talking about the "live" hands, being able to have the stats up and running and see any timing tells by opponents def helped me look at my own game and regs game in a more in-depth way.
Since I loaded only 12 tables (wut) I was able to exploit more and mak better decisions. I've been playing about 20+ tables for the past year and by doing that, there was no way I could improve my game, adjust well enough to regs and get a better roi/make more money. Sure, the volume was outstanding, but living off rakeback at these levels is just not the way to go.
So therefore I will set my yearly VPP goal a hell of a lot lower, improve my game, make more money, move up in stakes and then I might rethink masstabling again.

So to sum everything up: my game is way better, I feel way better and I focus way better so longrun moneyzz are on the way!
